The Batesville Area Chamber will recognize outstanding area businesses and individuals at its Annual Meeting and Gala. The event, presented by First Community Bank, will be held at the Batesville Community Center on Friday, January 27, 2023. Other event partners for the "Night at the Oscars" themed event are the Bad Boy Mowers, Hampton Inn, M & A Jones Construction Co., Peco Foods, the University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville, and White River Health.

 

The Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce (BACC) will hold a Ribbon-Cutting ceremony for The Ex Salon & Boutique. The Ribbon-Cutting will occur at The Ex Salon & Boutique at 359 E. Main Street in Batesville on Tuesday, January 24, at 2:30 p.m. 

 

The Ex Salon & Boutique is a full-service salon and boutique with Nashville-scene clothing. With 12 years of experience, Jeri is a blonding specialist and offers various services. Esthetics by Laura now offers spa services like facials, lashes, waxing, and more!

 

The ribbon cutting will be held in conjunction with the Ex Salon & Boutique's open house, which is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. An after-hours private event will also take place. Learn more by calling 870.612.7045.

The Arkansas State Police has partnered with DHS to launch the new Mandated Reporter Portal. Visit mandatedreporter.arkansas.gov to create an account and send in reports using a new secure online portal.

 

This new portal has been created in addition to the hotline for reporting suspected child abuse and neglect. The Arkansas Child Abuse Hotline remains accessible by calling 1-800-482-5964.
