King of the Crag

Description

Join us at Jamestown Crag for the 12th Annual King of the Crag — a beloved climbing competition and community celebration. This grassroots fall event brings together climbers, friends, and outdoor enthusiasts from across the region for a weekend of climbing, camping, and connection. 

More than just a competition, King of the Crag is also a reunion, a fundraiser, and a showcase of what makes Jamestown Crag special. All proceeds benefit the Jamestown Crag Foundation, a 501(c)(3) dedicated to keeping this unique outdoor space free, accessible, and well cared for. 

Competition Details: 

• Recreational (5.6–5.9) 
• Advanced (5.10–5.11A) 
• Rock God (5.11B–5.13+) 

Scoring is based on the top 5 red-point climbs (no falls or hanging). In the event of a tie, additional routes will determine the winner. Past first-place winners in Rec or Adv must move up a division. Special awards will also be given for Most Routes Climbed – King & Queen.
