SPARK! 2026 brings together employers, educators, service providers, and community partners to continue strengthening Independence County’s talent development system through WorkWired. Building on last year’s launch of the WorkWired Systems Building Initiative, this year’s convening will focus on progress, collaboration, and next steps for helping more young people move toward living-wage careers. Participants will connect with local partners, explore lessons learned, and engage in collaborative working sessions designed to strengthen education-to-employment pathways across the community. Key topics include guiding the emerging workforce to a living wage, employer engagement, work-based learning, systems building, and collaborative action for Independence County’s future workforce. This event is designed for employers, educators, community leaders, service providers, and anyone committed to helping young people access the skills, experiences, relationships, and support they need to thrive.
