Join us at Old Independence Regional Museum for an evening of fine food and compelling information. At 5:30 we serve renown local cook Rosetta Petty's famous chicken spaghetti and cinnamon rolls along with a salad and iced tea. Listen to Dr. Jennifer Wallach speak on the influence of African American food practices on American cuisine at 6:30. Afterward, stroll through the Smithsonian Institution/Old Independence Regional Museum's 'A Taste of Community' exhibit at no additional charge.
