Children's Cooking Class at Old Independence Regional Museum

Join Old Independence Regional Museum on July 9 and 10 for a great opportunity for your children to learn how to be more self sufficient in the kitchen! We will present hands-on lessons from the basics - how to make a sandwich - to more advanced ideas, like creating a mouth-watering stew. Classes are 10:00 - 4:00 and open to any child able to wield a knife or potato peeler all the way through high school. We will have guest speakers, a charcuterie demonstration, and a whole lot of fun! Contact us to reserve your spot; space is limited to 25 students. We will see you at the museum!
