Description
The Ozark Foothills Literacy Project is thrilled to announce the upcoming Family Fairytale Festival, a vibrant family literacy event for the entire community. The festival will take place on Sunday, September 29th, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Main Street Pocket Park in downtown Batesville, AR. This free event invites people of all ages to celebrate reading, stories, and the joy of learning together.
The Family Fairytale Festival will be filled with exciting activities, including games, and interactive story times that bring favorite fairytales to life. Children and adults alike can participate in hands-on activities designed to spark imaginations and foster a love of reading. Free books will be distributed to all participants to encourage literacy at home.
In addition to the fun and entertainment, local community partners will be on-site to provide information and resources for adult family members. These partners are dedicated to supporting literacy and lifelong learning in the Batesville community.
“We want to create a magical day for families that not only celebrates stories but also strengthens literacy skills,” said Dorianne Dias, [Your Title] at Ozark Foothills Literacy Project. “This festival is all about making reading accessible, fun, and a central part of family life.”
The Family Fairytale Festival promises something for everyone:
