Lyon College will continue its 2023-2024 Convocation speaker series with a presentation by global health adviser, clinical scientist and pandemic preparedness research response policy expert Dr. Elizabeth S. Higgs on Thursday, Oct. 12, at 4 p.m. in the Nucor Auditorium of the Lyon Business and Economics Building on the Lyon College campus, 2300 Highland Rd., Batesville. The presentation, 'Global Health Security: Time for a Paradigm Shift,' will focus on the importance of preparedness, advancing research response and the global clinical trials ecosystem in support of global health security. The free event is open to the public.
