The Lyon College Convocation speaker series will feature a presentation by Dr. William S. Higgins, physicist and NASA solar ambassador, titled 'Total Solar Eclipse: We Enter the Shadow of the Moon' on Sunday, April 7, at 4 p.m. in the Bevens Music Room of the Brown Fine Arts Building on the Lyon College campus in Batesville. Participants will gain understanding of the eclipse phenomenon and its significance, from ancient lore to modern scientific observations, just in time to join Lyon College for 'Scots in the Dark' on Monday, April 8, for a journey into the shadow of the moon
