El Centro Hispano works towards the mission of improving quality of life for Hispanic communities across Northeast Arkansas. Our six service areas (health, educational, legal, social, cultural, and civic engagement) are designed to aid in serving the needs of low-income, undereducated, and underserved Hispanics in our community. Bilingual youth education and leadership programs, translation services, and legal assistance are foundational elements in our community outreach and development. In serving the needs which are most important to families, advocating for equitable access to community resources and services, and at the same time fostering leadership skills in Hispanic youth, El Centro Hispano strives to mitigate the disparities and eliminate linguistic barriers affecting low-income Hispanics in our area. By encouraging community involvement and empowering Hispanic families through information and confidence, we strive to promote autonomy and equip the next generation of community leaders.
