Juneteenth Chat and Chew

Join us for the Juneteenth 2025 Chat & Chew at the Independence County Library on Thursday, June 19 at noon. Enjoy an uplifting program featuring an invocation by Pastor Lawrence Butler, a poem by Kandace Sherman, music by the Lyon College Gospel Choir, and a keynote from Collette Ramsey. Pastor Ercenia Strickland will offer the closing invocation. A free Southern-style lunch will be served, prepared by Chef Bryson “Chef B” Neely. Free and open to all. RSVP by calling 870-793-8814.
