The Chamber sets the standard for excellence in member service, community collaboration, and business growth. To continue this standard, we need someone who excels at member engagement, program coordination, and communication.

As a Membership Engagement Professional, you will take a lead role in ensuring that the chamber’s initiatives and events are well-planned and executed to provide a seamless experience for both members and guests. You will be integral in managing member relations and driving engagement through high-quality programs.


WE ARE SEEKING SOMEONE WHO CAN...

  • Engage with a diverse business network. Build relationships with prospective members on behalf of the chamber network while maintaining and strengthening current member relationships. You are the Ted Lasso of business networking — optimistically forging connections with charm and unwavering belief in the power of teamwork (even when you’re facing a room full of skeptics). You’re as relentless as Leslie Knope with a to-do list, making sure every member feels like the MVP and your Rolodex is as stacked as Tony Stark’s — because you know everyone in town, and they love to hear from you.
  • Manage accurate information. Solicit, verify, and manage information to ensure that membership and event information is accurate and current. You thrive on organization, and when it comes to prompt communication, you’re faster than The Flash.
  • Create and lead programs and events. Design, plan effective logistics, communicate thoroughly about, and execute chamber events. Work closely with team members to ensure smooth project delivery, high member engagement, and value for all participants—because, like Captain America, you know the importance of teamwork.
  • Pay close attention to detail. You pride yourself on accuracy, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks, whether it’s online information, making a connection for a member, or managing event details. Like Sherlock Holmes, you notice details others miss.
  • Proactively problem-solve. Develop strong relationships and trust with members to understand their needs and challenges and better connect them to resources that enhance overall member satisfaction. You naturally channel your inner Sheriff Woody and make sure everyone feels seen, heard, supported, and valued.


A TYPICAL DAY

  • Assist walk-in guests with referral needs.
  • Visit members to verify account information, hear highlights, assess needs, and connect member resources. 
  • Coordinate logistics for an upcoming ribbon-cutting event.
  • Collaborate with the Chamber team on program development, ensuring timelines and action steps are met.
  • Facilitate Events Advisory quarterly meeting.
  • Research the theme for the next large-scale event.
  • Share member social media posts.

IF YOU WANT TO LAND THIS JOB...

  • You need 3+ years of experience in membership development, program coordination, or a similar role. 
  • Proficiency in navigating technology (Google Suite, Microsoft Office, etc.) and attention to detail are essential. 
  • Experience in a fast-paced, collaborative environment is a plus.
